Shipping Policy

Last updated: 30.07.2026

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through the YES Gastro online store, operated by YES International Kft.

This policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, received and handled in case of delivery-related issues.

Different rules may apply depending on whether the customer is a consumer or a business customer.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any mandatory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

YES Gastro ships to Hungary and selected European countries.

Available shipping countries, shipping methods and shipping fees are shown during checkout or confirmed separately by quotation.

If your delivery country, region or address type is not available during checkout, please contact us before placing an order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders to locations where delivery is not available, not commercially reasonable, legally restricted or technically not possible.

3. Customer Types

YES Gastro sells to both consumer customers and business customers.

A) Consumers

A consumer is a natural person purchasing for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Consumer delivery rights are protected by mandatory consumer protection rules.

B) Business Customers

A business customer is a company, sole trader, institution, restaurant, café, hotel, catering business or any other customer purchasing for business, professional or commercial purposes.

Business deliveries may be subject to B2B shipping conditions, including pallet delivery, freight delivery, unloading requirements, business-address delivery and individual shipping quotations.

4. Shipping Methods

Depending on the order size, weight, destination, product type and availability, orders may be delivered by:

  • Parcel courier
  • Multi-box parcel delivery
  • Pallet delivery
  • Freight transport
  • Customer pickup
  • Other agreed delivery method

Large, heavy, oversized, fragile or high-volume orders may require pallet delivery or special freight transport.

Some products may not be suitable for standard parcel delivery because of their size, weight, fragility or packaging requirements.

5. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated based on factors such as:

  • Delivery country
  • Delivery address
  • Package size
  • Package weight
  • Number of boxes
  • Pallet requirement
  • Freight requirement
  • Product type
  • Selected delivery method
  • Additional services, where applicable

Shipping may be charged per parcel, per box, per pallet, per shipment or according to an individual quotation.

One order may be shipped in multiple boxes or separate shipments. In this case, shipping costs may apply to each package or shipment.

For consumers, the final delivery cost and any mandatory charges will be shown before the order is placed.

For business customers, shipping costs may be shown during checkout or confirmed separately by quotation, especially for larger, palletized, oversized or international orders.

6. Additional Delivery Charges

Additional charges may apply in certain cases, including but not limited to:

  • Pallet delivery
  • Oversized products
  • Heavy products
  • Fragile goods
  • Repeated delivery attempts
  • Failed delivery
  • Redirection
  • Address correction
  • Storage by the carrier
  • Return of undelivered goods
  • Special delivery request
  • Manual handling requirement
  • Delivery to remote or restricted areas

For consumers, any additional paid delivery service must be clearly shown before purchase and accepted by the customer where required by law.

For business customers, additional costs caused by delivery complications, incorrect information, failed delivery or special handling may be charged to the customer.

7. Order Processing

Orders are processed on business days.

Orders placed outside business hours, during weekends or on public holidays are normally processed on the next business day.

If payment is required in advance, processing may start only after the payment has been received or confirmed.

Order processing time may vary depending on:

  • Stock availability
  • Product type
  • Quantity ordered
  • Warehouse workload
  • Payment confirmation
  • Delivery method
  • Destination
  • Special packing requirements
  • Pallet or freight preparation

If an order cannot be processed within the usual timeframe, we will contact the customer where necessary.

8. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

Hungary:
Express One : 1–4 business days
MPL : 8-14 business days

International:

4–10 business days

These delivery times are estimates and may vary.

Delivery may take longer due to:

  • Stock availability
  • Payment delay
  • Carrier capacity
  • Public holidays
  • Seasonal workload
  • Customs procedures
  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Failed delivery attempt
  • Remote delivery location
  • Weather conditions
  • Supplier delay
  • Force majeure
  • Other external circumstances

Delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

9. Consumer Delivery Time

For consumer orders, products will be delivered within the delivery time confirmed during the order process.

If no specific delivery time is agreed, delivery will be made within the period required by applicable law.

If delivery is delayed, the consumer may contact YES Gastro and request delivery within an additional reasonable period.

If delivery still does not take place within the additional reasonable period, the consumer may have the right to cancel the order and request a refund, where permitted by law.

This does not affect cases where delivery by a specific date was essential and this was clearly communicated and accepted before the order was placed.

10. Business Delivery Time

For business customers, delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been confirmed in writing by YES Gastro.

Business deliveries may depend on warehouse preparation, palletization, freight scheduling, route planning, supplier availability and carrier capacity.

YES Gastro is not responsible for business losses caused by delivery delays, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, business interruption or operational delay, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Business customers should not schedule installation, service work, opening dates, events or customer commitments based only on estimated delivery times.

11. Delivery Address

The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate and deliverable address.

The delivery address should include:

  • Full name or company name
  • Contact person
  • Street name and house number
  • Floor, door, unit or building information, if relevant
  • Postal code
  • City
  • Country
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Tax or company information, where required for business deliveries

Additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or undeliverable address information may be charged to the customer.

If the delivery address must be changed after the order is placed, please contact us as soon as possible. Address changes may not be possible after the order has been dispatched.

12. Delivery To Business Addresses

For business customers, delivery is normally made to the address provided in the order.

The customer must ensure that the delivery location is suitable for receiving the shipment.

For business, warehouse, restaurant, hotel, institutional or construction-site deliveries, the customer must ensure that:

  • The delivery address is accessible
  • The contact person is available
  • Goods can be received during business hours
  • Necessary unloading equipment is available where required
  • The delivery area is safe and suitable
  • Any access restrictions are communicated in advance

If the carrier cannot complete delivery because of access restrictions, missing contact person, closed premises or unsuitable unloading conditions, additional costs may be charged to the customer.

13. Parcel Delivery

Parcel delivery is used for products that can be safely packed and shipped by standard courier services.

Parcel orders may be delivered in one or more boxes.

The carrier may deliver packages separately, even if they belong to the same order.

The customer should check the number of packages received and compare them with the shipping confirmation, tracking information or delivery documentation where available.

14. Multi-Box Shipments

Some orders may be packed into several boxes.

Multi-box shipments may arrive:

  • At the same time
  • On the same day but separately
  • On different days
  • Through separate tracking numbers
  • Through separate carrier handling

If only part of the order arrives, please check the tracking information first. If the remaining package does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact us with the order number and the details of the missing package.

15. Pallet Delivery And Freight Transport

Large, heavy, oversized, fragile or high-quantity orders may be delivered on pallets or by freight transport.

Pallet and freight deliveries may require:

  • Suitable unloading area
  • Truck access
  • Forklift, pallet truck or manual unloading capacity
  • Business-hour availability
  • Contact person at delivery location
  • Prior delivery arrangement
  • Additional handling time

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, pallet and freight deliveries are normally made to the accessible delivery point or curbside unloading point.

The carrier may not be required to carry goods inside the building, upstairs, into kitchens, storage rooms, basements, narrow corridors or restricted areas.

Any special unloading, indoor delivery, lifting, carrying or installation request must be agreed in writing before dispatch and may involve additional costs.

16. Customer Pickup

Customer pickup may be available for selected orders.

Pickup is only possible after YES Gastro confirms that the order is ready for collection.

The customer must not arrive for pickup before receiving confirmation.

Pickup instructions may include:

  • Pickup address
  • Opening hours
  • Reference number
  • Required documents
  • Contact person
  • Loading instructions
  • Vehicle access information

The customer is responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle and any equipment needed for loading and securing the goods.

For business pickups, the person collecting the goods may be asked to provide order confirmation, company information or identification.

Once the goods are collected, the customer is responsible for safe loading, securing and transport, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

17. Delivery Attempts

The carrier may attempt delivery according to its own delivery rules.

If delivery is unsuccessful, the carrier may:

  • Attempt delivery again
  • Send the package to a pickup point
  • Hold the package temporarily
  • Return the package to us
  • Charge storage, redirection or return fees

The customer is responsible for monitoring delivery notifications and being available to receive the shipment.

Additional costs caused by failed delivery due to customer-related reasons may be charged to the customer.

Customer-related reasons may include:

  • Incorrect address
  • Missing contact information
  • Customer not available
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Closed business premises
  • No unloading possibility
  • Access restriction
  • Failure to collect from pickup point
  • Failure to respond to the carrier

18. Refused Delivery

If the customer refuses delivery without a valid reason, the order may be returned to us.

In such cases, we may deduct or charge:

  • Original shipping cost
  • Return shipping cost
  • Storage cost
  • Handling cost
  • Pallet or freight cost
  • Other costs caused by the refused delivery

For consumers, this does not limit mandatory consumer withdrawal or legal guarantee rights.

For business customers, refused delivery without approved reason may be treated as a customer-related failed delivery.

19. Risk During Delivery

A) Consumers

For consumer orders, YES Gastro is responsible for goods during transport until the products are received by the consumer or by a person designated by the consumer.

If the consumer chooses a carrier independently and that carrier was not offered by YES Gastro, different rules may apply under applicable law.

B) Business Customers

For business customers, risk passes according to the agreed delivery terms, the selected delivery method and applicable law.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, business customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery and document any visible damage or shortage.

If a business customer arranges their own carrier or pickup, the customer is responsible for the transport after the goods are handed over to the carrier or collecting person, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

20. Checking The Delivery

The customer should check the delivery shortly after receiving it.

This is especially important for:

  • Multi-box shipments
  • Pallet deliveries
  • Freight deliveries
  • Large orders
  • Business orders
  • Fragile products
  • Products needed for urgent business use
  • Please check:
  • Whether the package is visibly damaged
  • Whether the shipping label matches the order
  • Whether the number of packages seems correct
  • Whether the products received match the order
  • Whether any product is missing, incorrect or damaged

For consumers, failure to check immediately does not remove mandatory consumer rights.

For business customers, delayed inspection or late reporting may make transport claims harder to process.

21. Visible Transport Damage

If the package arrives visibly damaged, please document the issue immediately.

Please take clear photos of:

  • Outer packaging
  • Shipping label
  • Damaged box or pallet
  • Internal packaging
  • Damaged product
  • Any visible dents, tears, holes, crushing, wet marks or other damage

If possible, ask the courier to record the damage at the time of delivery.

For pallet or freight deliveries, visible damage should be noted on the delivery document whenever possible.

Contact us as soon as possible at:

Email: info@yesgastro.eu

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Tracking number, if available
  • Product name or SKU
  • Quantity affected
  • Description of the damage
  • Photos
  • Delivery or courier documentation, if available

22. Hidden Transport Damage

Hidden transport damage means damage that is not visible from the outside of the package at the time of delivery.

If you discover hidden damage after opening the package, contact us as soon as possible.

Please keep:

  • The damaged product
  • The original packaging
  • The internal packaging material
  • Shipping label
  • Delivery documents

Do not throw away the packaging until the case has been reviewed.

Photos of both the product and packaging are important for transport claim handling.

23. Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Product name or SKU
  • Quantity ordered
  • Quantity received
  • Photos of the received products
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Delivery note or invoice, if available

Some orders are shipped in multiple packages. Before submitting a missing-item claim, please check whether the order has separate tracking numbers or split shipment information.

After reviewing the case, we may arrange shipment of the missing item, refund, credit note or another appropriate solution.

24. Incorrect Products

If you receive an incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Product received
  • Product expected
  • SKU, if available
  • Quantity affected
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the product label or packaging
  • Photos of the shipping label

Please do not use, wash, install, assemble or modify the incorrect product before contacting us.

After reviewing the case, we may arrange replacement, return, refund, credit note or another appropriate correction.

25. Lost Shipments

If tracking shows that a shipment has not moved for an unusual period, or if the expected delivery time has passed, please contact us.

We may contact the carrier, request an investigation or arrange the next step depending on the situation.

For consumer customers, mandatory delivery rights remain unaffected.

For business customers, replacement, refund or credit may depend on the carrier investigation, delivery documents and the circumstances of the shipment, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

26. International Shipping

YES Gastro may ship to selected countries within the European Union.

YES Gastro does not offer delivery to destinations outside the European Union.

International delivery times may vary depending on destination, carrier network, public holidays, local delivery conditions and address accuracy.

For deliveries within the European Union, VAT treatment may depend on the customer type, delivery country, VAT number and applicable tax rules.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products may be used or resold in the destination country where applicable.

YES Gastro is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by local regulations, delivery restrictions or missing customer documentation.

27. Delivery Restrictions

Some products may be subject to delivery restrictions because of:

  • Size
  • Weight
  • Fragility
  • Product type
  • Packaging limitations
  • Destination country
  • Carrier limitations
  • Legal restrictions
  • Safety requirements
  • Availability

If a product cannot be shipped using the selected delivery method, we may contact the customer to arrange a different delivery method or cancel the affected product.

28. Oversized, Heavy Or Fragile Products

Oversized, heavy or fragile products may require special packaging, pallet shipping, freight delivery or individual quotation.

These products may not be eligible for standard parcel delivery.

Delivery of such products may take longer than standard parcel delivery.

Additional shipping, handling or packaging costs may apply.

The customer must ensure that the delivery location is suitable for receiving oversized, heavy or fragile goods.

29. Cash On Delivery

Cash on delivery may be available for selected orders, destinations and customer types.

Cash on delivery may be limited by:

  • Order value
  • Delivery country
  • Carrier availability
  • Product type
  • Customer type
  • Previous payment history
  • Internal risk review

YES Gastro reserves the right to refuse cash on delivery and request another payment method before dispatch.

If a cash-on-delivery shipment is refused or not collected, related shipping, return, storage or handling costs may be charged to the customer.

30. Shipping Changes After Dispatch

After an order has been dispatched, changes may be limited or impossible.

Address changes, redirection, delivery date changes or pickup-point changes may depend on the carrier.

Any additional cost caused by a change requested after dispatch may be charged to the customer.

31. Delays Outside Our Control

YES Gastro is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Carrier delay
  • Supplier delay
  • Customs delay
  • Incorrect address
  • Failed delivery attempt
  • Public holidays
  • Weather conditions
  • Strike
  • Labor shortage
  • Traffic disruption
  • System outage
  • Import delay
  • Government measure
  • Force majeure

For consumers, mandatory rights in case of delayed delivery remain unaffected.

32. Returns Related To Shipping Problems

If a product must be returned because of a delivery issue, damaged shipment, incorrect product or confirmed mistake on our side, we will review the case and provide instructions.

Do not send products back without contacting us first.

Unapproved returns may cause delays, additional costs or refusal of the return, especially for business customers.

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
